Benson Records Management Center is equipped with a state of the art Firelock Vault, which is the highest performing vault on the market today. You will gain unparalleled security for all of your computer media. It has the best fire rating available. Boasting a Novec fire suppression system that will not damage media in the event it is discharged, unlike Halon or other similar systems, along with precise temperature and humidity control. Gemtrac cabinets inside help provide the most advanced protection system in the industry.
The vault is constructed using a spun ceramic insulation – similar to the heat shield used in the space shuttle program. It can withstand outside temperature of 2,000 degrees for 3 hours.
The media vault contains:
